When he was a young man, Pablo Picasso was in love with a model named Fernande Olivier who inspired him to shift from what would become known as his “blue period” to his “rose or pink period.”

Paintings from this time in Picasso’s life were full of cheerful orange and pink. As Winter soon turns to Spring (at least for BakeSpacers north of the equator), it’s a good time to start adding some pink to the menu.
